It all started when I was loading songs into my phone the day visiting Jaben. Eruptions by Van Halen was one of the songs I synced into my phone. I played this song when I tested the Sennheiser HD650 with the Symphonica cables. That's when my mood for electric guitar solos arise. Then I suddenly thought of this video a friend of mine, Bernard, once showed me many years ago. I've forgotten his name but with Bernard's help, I've managed to find the video.
That guitarist is no other than Michael Angelo Batio. Who is he? I think even Googling this man up doesn't serve him enough justice until one has watched the video below. He invented the Over-Under techqnique, which he used at 1:54.
If it's your first time watching him play, I bet your jaw must've dropped. Enough said.
